Privacy Policy

Emirati Arabic – A1 to C2 ("the App") is developed by YazTeKs. This Privacy Policy explains what happens to your information when you use the App on iPhone, iPad or Android.

1. The short version

The App does not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

2. Data stored on your device only

• Your progress: the sections you tick off and your light/dark theme choice are saved on your device. They never leave it.
• Course content: all words, phrases, grammar and the dictionary are bundled inside the App and work offline.

3. Speech

Arabic and English are read aloud using the speech voices built into your device's operating system. The text is spoken locally; the App does not send it to us.

4. Purchases

Emirati Arabic Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, email address, payment details or Apple ID. The App only checks, on your device, whether a valid subscription is active.

5. Information we do not collect

• Your name, email address or phone number
• Your location
• Your contacts, photos, microphone or camera
• Device identifiers, usage analytics or crash reports

6. Children

The App does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

7. Dictionary sources

Gulf Arabic and Arabic dictionary entries are adapted from Wiktionary under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
