Privacy Policy

CollecTeKs ("the App") is developed by YazTeKs. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our iOS application.

1. Information We Collect

Data you create: Nodes, edges, collections, stories, notes, and media files (photos, voice recordings, documents) you create within the App are stored locally on your device.

Cloud sync (optional, Pro only): If you choose to sync your data to the cloud, your collections and media files are stored securely on Cloudflare R2 storage, associated with an anonymous user identifier provided by RevenueCat.

AI analysis (optional, Pro only): When you use the AI analysis feature, the text, photo, or voice content you submit is sent to our server, which processes it using Anthropic's Claude API. We do not store the content of your AI requests beyond the time needed to process them. We track aggregate usage counts and token usage per month for billing purposes.

Purchase information: In-app purchases are processed by Apple and managed by RevenueCat. We receive an anonymous subscriber ID and entitlement status. We do not receive your name, email, payment details, or Apple ID.

Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics SDKs. We do not track your behavior, location, or browsing activity.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Your location data
• Your contacts or address book
• Your browsing history
• Device identifiers for advertising purposes
• Any data from other apps on your device

3. How We Use Your Information

• Local storage: Your collections are stored on-device for the App to function.
• Cloud sync: To synchronize your data across devices (Pro feature, opt-in only).
• AI processing: To generate knowledge graph nodes and edges from your input (Pro feature, opt-in only).
• Library/Marketplace: If you choose to publish a collection, it becomes publicly available for other users to download.
• Subscription management: To verify your Pro subscription status and enforce usage limits.

4. Data Storage and Security

Local data is stored on your device using Apple's Core Data framework and is protected by your device's built-in encryption.

Cloud data is stored on Cloudflare R2 (encrypted at rest) and is associated with an anonymous identifier — not your Apple ID or personal information.

AI requests are transmitted over HTTPS to our Cloudflare Worker, which proxies them to Anthropic's API. We do not log or store the content of these requests.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. The only third-party services that receive data are:

• RevenueCat: Anonymous subscriber ID for purchase management
• Anthropic: Content you submit for AI analysis (not stored by us)
• Cloudflare: Cloud-synced collections and media (encrypted at rest)
• Apple: In-app purchase transactions (handled by Apple, not by us)

6. Your Rights

• Delete your data: You can delete any collection or node within the App at any time. Deleting the App removes all local data.
• Cloud data: Contact us at support@yazteks.com to request deletion of any cloud-synced data.
• Published collections: You can unpublish collections from the Library at any time within the App.

7. Children's Privacy

CollecTeKs is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Camera, Microphone, and Photo Library

The App requests permission to use your camera, microphone, photo library, and speech recognition. These are used exclusively for creating nodes within your collections (capturing photos, recording voice memos, attaching images, and transcribing speech). Media is stored locally on your device and is only uploaded to the cloud if you explicitly enable cloud sync as a Pro subscriber.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
